John Vallacchi

Environmental Program Manager

John has spent his whole career working in parks. Raised in New Jersey, John started working as a Program Manager at New York Cares on their Public Spaces and Revitalization team after relocating to the City. After years of working alongside various agencies and conservancies including BiB to engage volunteers in city parks, he's finally come on board as our Environmental Program Manager! Most days you can find him crouched over a flower or squinting up into the trees at one of our parks, trying to get a better look at all the wonderful wildlife that calls the Bronx home.
